*THIS BLOG IS REALLY A HUGE ONE, SO KINDLY HAVE PATIENCE AND READ IT FULLY AS THIS IS A SENTI ONE!!!
Hello friends!! I wanted to tell you about some people, who have given me their company and now i have a very nice time with them...
I although got a friends group a bit late, as compared to many of my other batchmates, but i am proud to say that, this group is really a vivacious and zestful one, and probably the best and the most "chill" one also.. (touchwood). And I will like you also to meet them.....
PALKA: Palka was the first and now is the best friend of mine at IIT, and from that very day, she had resolved to eliminate all my ingenuousness. She always kept to tell me right way to balance between studies and masti, how to do lab work quickly (fraud eventually!!), and how to judge and handle the people around you.... She gave me lots and lots of help.... And in the end of 1st sem, also did me a big big favour!! She is very very sweet and really helping... rather, caring others more than herself (and mind you, this is not an exaggeration)!! She always had an eye on my NSS hrs and encouraged me to add to my hours... and many many other favors that she made..... thanks to you Palka...
RITIKA: Ritika is the girl, who is consistently consummate with each course, whichever is taught yet, (and I am damn sure that she will keep performing the same way..) and it is only she which has made all of us get some honourable, or some above average marks. She attends every lecture, listens and gets these ghost-like profs, and then, teaches all of us, clearing each and every doubt we have... Also, makes me aware firmly whenever I am going wrong way and at times, tolerates my foolish (or sometimes, geeks-like or philosophic) talks also....And obviously, always helps me without any hope to get a return....
NITISH: Nitish is a very very sociable guy... We know each other because of CSL101 course only, but now we are very good friends... He is damn funny, articulate and is always tickling others' funny bone with his "wise" quotes... He is endowed with a great acumen, a strong grasping power and an excellent farsightedness... If you need him, he is always there... He can always make you feel well and happy, even when the things go awry.... And Most Importantly, HE IS OUR SALSA DANCE TEACHER and has an excellent dancing talent!!
SHAURYA: Now this is the guy, who is the soul of the whole group. Being in a light happy-go-lucky mood, he always keeps others also happy. Besides being a very good mimic, he has proved himself as a good singer also... This guy is always a very reliable friend too and I can assure, that if you are with him, you will definitely forget all your tensions and heck....He is such a magicman. And he gave me a strong support, when i needed it badly.....
SIDAK: Sidak is the BIGGEST altruist in the world... He is a very very sentimental man, always wants to see a smile on every face, counsels people leisurely and always tries to eliminate the misunderstandings between others. He is a mega nice naive, innocent, bovine guy, liked by everyone without any exception. Morever, he is a good sportsman, a great basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis, squash blah blah blah... player...
VANI: Leaving Vani will really be injust. Although I met her a bit late, but she is not less than these other people... and I can not afford to fail to tell about her, because she is my SALSA DANCE PARTNER.. Hmmm.. though I am a "dhakkan" with my dance part, but she a brilliant dancer... (especially on "bidi" :-)) .And yes, a very good basketball player also. A very sweet extrovert IITian with a soft beautiful voice (doesn't mean that she is a good singer!!) and a good sense of humour....
So this was my friends group... I hope you would have liked all of them.. They are all very very good people, all with sharp minds and a very good talent.. They had always supported me like my family members, and the best part of them is that all of them are very very reliable. and you can blatantly trust them, any time, any where...

The lion has really come this time!!!
Oh yes!! The people would have got a lesson by now.....
The worst thing with IITs is that they don't give holidays with a kind heart... Festival of Holi was just around the corner and we were getting holiday only for friday. It inspired the people to bunk thursday's HUMANITIES class (or hukkah, in our own iit lingo) as it is the most worthless course assigned to us (the author is not responsible for the views expressed in this article!!!) and EEL102 class (intro to electrical engg or batti) to visit their homes...
There was a time, when people didn't dare to bunk this EEL class, as the speculations for surprise quiz were very rife and on every next turn, people used to interpret that it WAS a quiz on next turn... but there was never a quiz. Still, people never failed to foretell about a quiz on the next turn. But now, people had started to take the quiz very casually. Rather, they had forgotten that any surprise quiz could also take place in EEL....
But on THURSDAY, (march 01) when Patney came, and saw a very lean attendance, he suddenly decided to give a quiz... AND THE TIME STOPPED!!! It was as shocking for them who WERE in the class, as for them who WERE NOT in the class..........because, the public present in the class is also stuck in this labyrinth of capacitors, resistors, inductors, transistors etc... and so was not any better than that who was not present....
So, it was aghasting for whole mass of the class, and by the great help of the greatest invention ever, CELLPHONE, most of the other people had also come to know that Patney was giving a quiz.... and it was a bang for the people who were enjoying some cozy, senti or comedy movies at there homes, or at halls.... and for them too, who were having the joy to sleep in hostels (or may be classrooms too!!!). And then there was an endless number of phone calls to me.... Ms R1 from "PVR" (great!!) , P, N and Mr N, A..... i attended atleast 15 calls and 10 sms within the quiz!! (cool, no??).
But the most amazing thing was that R called S and told it to him, and S was in the class before the quiz started!! What a speed man!! bravo!!!
And poor N... who is one of the best friends of mine at IIT, (chchch....) was also in a great trouble, probably the most severe way and weired too... He was on his sweet sweet date, when he learnt that Patney was going to ruin his meeting with his sweetheart.... He called me, called S, called R a number of times, wailing "Kuch karo yaar mere liye"........... ("Do something for me" - uhoh, it was so interesting, I wish you could have listened that wail!!!)
And finally, we had a solution....... we decided to submit the solutions for our those "dearest" friends, who had bunked.. and the problem solved.... great succor to N.....
But after the quiz was over and lecture began... N talked to me and S... and we had a new issue, which was even more terrifying for N......!!! Both of us (S and me) had submitted the solution for N..... (oh wow!!)!! Now N was about to die..... He again called me and S again with the same urge... "Kuch karo yaar mere liye!!! Mujhe fakka de dega woh!!!" ("Do something for me!! He will give me a straight F!!" - It was fun!!). Finally, as all his charisma was lost upto now, I somehow requested Patney after the class to kindly(?) allow me to take my(?) answer sheet back as I had submitted my rough sheet... he consented and I took one sheet of "mine" back... AAAAHHH!! N will probably never bunk any class in the future, at least not EEL..............
